Agreed, and I’ve seen far worse first season Fox cartoons. So far it’s been just kind of a nice breezy half hour every week and I’m fine with that as it finds its footing.

I watched through Billy Jack and The Trial of Billy Jack with my family for the first time after reading the review on here from this series, and yeah it’s baffling to me how those movies made that much money. They’re so goofily dour.

Wow, I’ve never thought of Expose as a Tales of the Crypt-esque episode but that’s a perfect description. I always thought it was a super weird one tonally, outside of it being super weird for being Nikki and Paulo’s episode.

A few months later with all five spinoffs dropped as of today, this feels like an accurate prediction.

It’ll be interesting to hear what the issues with production were for this pilot and compare them to the original GoT pilot’s issues.

There was some concept art for 1313 (I think, that or another Boba game concept) that had Boba in armor with a suspiciously similar color scheme to the Mandalorian’s with notes that he had amnesia.

Brilliant review! I’m not sure how far I am in the game but so far my opinion lines up completely with yours. I’d love to see this kind of writing for this kind of game but like. One that isn’t so bleak. Just let me be Homer-cop through a Simpsons level drama world.

I picked up Astral Chain, so far it’s real good. The action’s unsurprisingly wild and awesome because Platinum, I’m really digging the story, music, and overall presentation too. I still have a bunch of Switch games I have to finish but I was really in the mood for this kind of game first.

2K’s probably begging for a year off, especially after Yukes left. But WWE is pretty firm in needing a yearly release from what I’ve heard.

Agreed, S5 just left a sour taste in my mouth. It felt like things were changing after S4 but then Bojack had to return to his regularly scheduled penultimate episode fall. I’m hoping the “the beginning of the end of BoJack’s rehabilitation” mentioned in the review doesn’t end up being “Bojack ruins everything again…

I’d much have him in AEW or on Powerrr too but with him abruptly taking all his Prowrestlingtees stuff down (the only shirt PWT has for Punk now is one that just says “CM PUNK SUCKS” on it), I feel like he’s WWE-bound.
