My first thought was “is this the one Seth MacFarlane was doing?” then my second thought was “I wonder if that one Flinstones on the Rocks TV movie still holds up.”

Ohhhh why did I click this.
Now you’ve got me looking at the Eternals cast so far and seeing who would fit a FF character.
Part of me was hoping they’d somehow end up with the “Red Dead Trooper” that was apparently the crew’s name for them.
I think we’ll be hearing about it soon, it sounds like both that and Switch Lite went in production at the same time.
Now I’m imagining a console only Switch with a disc drive for backwards compatibility.
If saves jump back and forth easily between this and the regular Switch and game downloads can carry over it might be nice to have a slightly more pocket friendly Switch to bring around.
I’m still figuring out my stuff so I don’t know how accurate it is, but I played a game that’s like a recreation of 90's trans internet spaces called Secret Little Haven that I thought was a really interesting look at the time period through that lens (as is this article!)
I hope the commercials for it would be so vague all you could gather is that someone would be opening a door and answering a phone at the lounge.
I can definitely see them back for a Phase 5 Secret Wars type thing.
Between this and Pennyworth (and probably other DC shows), I imagine DC/WB execs often asking themselves “how tangentially related does a movie or show really have to be to Batman so we can do as little of that superhero stuff as we can but also get that sweet sweet superhero money?”
I thought the title was referring to a movie version of the Jerry Spinelli book Stargirl, which I now see is a thing that’s apparently coming for Disney+.
I’m playing a bunch of stuff at once, still on my “let’s buy lots of lil cheap games and one of these will stick and be my Post Breakup Game” (I always feel like I need some kind of marker of a game for a life change or even just a season). So let’s do rapid fire of all the stuff I’m trying:
I made Hank Hill’s face a level while drunk:
Bonus points for the Dekkar comparison. Five bags of popcorn!
I’ve been told so many good things about Big Mouth but I just haven’t been able to jump over the hurdle of that art style to actually watch it.
I keep stopping at the theater in Persona Q2 to just listen to that lovely song that plays in the menus. “You were mysterious right from the start, something set you apaaaaart...”
“So at the end of the film, you do know what the dealio is.”
Giant Days is legit the only comic I’ve been consistent in buying new issues since I started it and I’m gonna be so emotional when it ends.
I’ve seen people say Soulsbornekiro as a genre online and it hurts to read.
