BOTW 2 and FFVII were the most hype for me. I liked seeing the look at new Vampire 2 gameplay which looks just like the original which legit is all I need. It’s been about just long enough for a new Lego Star Wars game, and Fallen Order looks good too. And ANIMAL CROSSING.

On top of everything else Kenny’s a Mother/Earthbound fan?! He’s awesome.

*Even that doesn’t damper how great the rest was, with that incredible atmosphere and writing. Very glad the original writer is on the sequel (with other talented writers!)

Now playing

Finished VtM:B this week, and Blood & Truth. Both fun in their own way. Now I feel like my game schedule is slightly lightened for finishing two whole games lol.

I actually finished things this week!

“You don’t deserve that hat!”

I...need to see this.

CDPR just continues making me real uncomfortable, their handling of trans issues is tone deaf at best, and that’s not saying anything about the stereotypes of PoC in the game previews.

He moved far away from superheroes on titles like Satellite Sam (erotic historical fiction), Sex Criminals (erotic crime comedy), and ODY-C (erotic sci-fi reimagining of mythology), so it’s a surprise to see him attached to a new corporate superhero book, and at DC Comics, no less.

Yeah I’d love that, like the partner dungeons in Wind Waker.

Oh man one of my biggest nitpicks for BOTW was the marketing hyping up teaming up with Zelda and riding around the world with her then not really delivering, if this has that I’m 100% in already.

Animal Crossing: Eventide Island

Vampire 2 in Q1 2020 as well. I already have a ton I’m looking forward to next year with that, FFVII, Persona 5 Royal, and the likely TLOU2/Ghost of Tsushima...

Yeah like S3 wasn’t bad but it definitely felt off. Like S1-S2 I could have seen it going many seasons but it started to feel a bit strained in S3 so I’m good with it ending at Season 4.

If it’s anything like his last few years of WWE stuff, expect a bunch of big moves with no plot, then when he talks he randomly constantly breaks the fourth wall.

Oh yeah definitely wait on Q2 til you play P5, it relies heavily on the P5 characters. And I still gotta play Strange Journey Redux, I’m soooo behind on my Atlus 3DS stuff.

I freakin love the Infamous games. When I was younger I was mad Sucker Punch wasn’t doing Sly 4, then I saw Infamous gameplay and bought a PS3 the day it came out.

My wild hopes are the same every year: Sly Cooper 5 and a Mother 3 remake like that Wind Waker artstyle mockup.

Persona Q2! It’s really fun! I’m not very far (Just got to P3P FeMC who is adorable), but so far it feels a lot more engaging than Q1. It might just be the slight changes like not having to pay to heal that make me more willing to go through dungeons with more engagement. Or maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood for

Fantastic read. Can’t wait for the next articles of this retrospective.
