Some of my friends on a Star Wars chat want me to get into TOR so I want to try playing more than like the 20 minutes I’ve played before. I haven’t played many MMOs (just this and FFXIV ARR I think) so there’s probably gonna be a learning curve? I have KOTOR 1 on standby if it’s too much for me.

Reading the rest I think they were going for a snarky joke but it just comes across as “your opinion is wrong for liking this and you’re just lying to yourself because they’re actually Bad.” which...ugh. And you’re not alone in thinking the. sequel trilogy is fantastic.

You can pretty much feel the point in Lost S3 when they got the final 3 season order with end date. There’s a marked shift in like “oh stuff like this can happen now and we can really move forward.”

It’s like if Avatar the Last Airbender ended with Aang brutally murdering Ozai after all those episodes of him trying to find a way to not kill him.

I’m replaying KOTOR again, usually I played on my OG Xbox but I’m trying on my computer and I still love this game. I actually even have a few mods installed on it and 2 which is impressive for my generally non-PC playing self. It definitely picks up after S3, the show runners used the awful Jack tattoo ep as an example of why they need an end date. It gets a lot faster in 4/5/6.

Octopath Traveler looks so gorgeous, I haven’t played the demos much but I’m tempted to get it day one just for that amazing art style.

The one where that dude talks about having threesomes with his brother comes to mind as a great moment of Nathan straining to stay in character, made even more absurd when they go to the guy’s house and his brother confirms everything he said.

I remember leaving TLJ the first time I saw it and me and my friends all had the same thought that Rian’s trilogy is gonna be great.

Just a heads up about P4G (not sure if you’ve played it before), I’ll try to be as spoiler free as possible but there is a VERY annoying thing for the true true ending that is incredibly easy to miss. I can be a little more detailed if you’d like without giving anything away.

From what I remember they thought the hour long Gargantua 2 special didn’t count as part of their episode order and ran out of eps before the finale, which will probably be the S7 premiere.

Yeah that one escapes truly feeling like filler just because Rose and Bernard are so likable. Without getting into spoilers you just have one more season with filler episodes to go before they got their end date, which really speeds things up.
