The Caddy is doomed to fail, no matter how nice it is. You need to build a reputation before people will spend $300K on a car. You don’t try to sell a car in that class to build a reputation.

With cold air rockets or GTFO.
The Roadster. LOL. KAY. Its just a year away.
It’s wild that I’ve seen three Fisker Oceans in NYC given that their problems lasted as long as they did. Did they make them in any other colors, because I’ve only seen the matte blue ones.
Probably trying to repeat the Plaidessy (A Honda Odyssey body on a Tesla Model S Plaid chassis):
I grew up in a time where my parents would take me for rides. Just ride around. Then I used to do it in highschool. I still try to take the long way home every once and a while. Usually other people on the road is what makes it miserable for me.
I wonder if his multiple hate crime convictions are what’s keeping him out of business in Boston. I know that he wanted a pardon for the crimes because having those convictions on the books was interfering with whatever role he has in Wahlburgers in California.
What’s the situation with all of those hybrid car batteries after so long?
Smaller group. More like the top 0.1% or 0.2%. From Investopedia.com:
I whole-heartedly disagree about speed limits. When my family moved to our current city, it took 2 hours + to drive to Raleigh NC. We now have a 70 mph speed limit highway where traffic regularly moves at 79 mph. You can now get to Raleigh in just over an hour. Charlotte used to take 5 hours, now you can do it in…
Define “better”
55 MPH is more than a “minor inconvenience”. Have you ever driven (or been a passenger) crossing Kansas at 55 MPH? Christ it felt like I could get out and walk faster than that.
Import age rules for private citizens are dumb. Let people bring in whatever deathtrap they want so long it won’t kill anyone else and doesn’t roll coal. An S4 wagon isn’t going to hurt anyone.
My BFF never had a car until he retired and moved a few doors down from me in FL. He was apoplectic when his car wouldn’t start one day.
You would be surprised how much of what’s “fun” in an enthusiast car is actually code for uncomfortable or complicated.
Everytime I hear this I pull up the 59 Bel Air vs the 09 Malibu front quarter crash test on Youtube. Shuts them up with the quickness.
Honestly, most of the dumbest stuff I’ve ever heard about cars comes from enthusiasts and is best summed up as “there’s only one way to enjoy cars, and that’s my way.”
I still hear people complain about how cars used to be safer because they used more steel. A lot less often than I heard that in 90s, but it still leaves me dumbfounded every so often. They’re not even all boomers, either.
Anyone here remember Saturn owners? Not the SC2 guys, but the LW and SL owners. They had some serious doozies of beliefs when it came to cars.
Nissan Silvia Spec R. You can rarely, if ever, find an unmolested and low mileage 240SX in the U.S. so might as well go for the best version from elsewhere.
