I agree that the recent bids are more likely to be genuine. But it’s also fair to say that earlier manipulation prices would still impact the recent bids. If there had been no manipulation the recent bids would likely be much lower.

I think there’s a number of crimes where it’s understandable that the FBI wouldn’t just go involve themselves in until local law enforcement has assessed the situation.
