Oh, I'll be more than happy to take another look if/when changes are made. All I'm saying is that, for the moment, I don't find it adequate for my particular syndicated-content-consumption needs.
I think I'll be sticking with Google Reader, I'm afraid. Currents has an attractive presentation, but the usability is pretty poor, at least on the Android handset version. Instead of smooth scrolling, stories are chopped up into pages - which also precludes the ability to swipe to the next item. Story lists are also…
You can also click the "Images" filter in the left-side column on a regular search.
A few advantages to consider:
The graph clearly states that Autorun from USB devices accounts for 26%, and Autorun from network devices accounts for 17.2%, for a total of 43.2%. I feel comfortable describing that as "almost half."
Mm? Shift+Space still works for me, as does spacing through long posts. And you couldn't keep items unread after marking all as read before the update, either. So I don't think any of the things you mentioned have changed.
I see what you're getting at, but in what sense is Google a "monopoly?" Certainly not in any of search, social networks or RSS clients.
As a heavy Reader user for over a year now, this is a very welcome update. The integration with G+ makes a lot of sense, and it's a great sign that Google is getting serious about consolidating its services.
You mean like this? :)
I believe Dolphin can do this, via an add-on.
Care to elaborate?
I'm not sure I understand the outrage over the Firefox thing. As I understand it, this is a separately-available version of Firefox that sets Bing as the default search engine and homepage - two things that anyone can change in about 15 seconds flat. No harm done, as far as I can tell.
I played with XWidget a bit when it first came out. While it's far more limited than Rainmeter in terms of functionality, the editing features and smooth animations make it an attractive alternative for those who want a very basic range of desktop gadgets and a touch of eye candy. :)
Sorry for the late reply - but glad you found a solution. :) It looks like Rainmeter is using the value of #WORKAREAHEIGHT# on the first monitor, even when the skin is on the second. I'll talk to our code monkeys and see if we can get this fixed.
...well that's very strange. Does the problem persist if you reinstall a clean copy of Enigma? (If you've made modifications to other skins that you don't want to lose, you can just extract "Sidebar\Music\Music.ini" and "Resources\Styles\Enigma Dark\SidebarMusic.inc" from the archive and paste them into your existing…
The "invalid player" error is caused by a typo. It doesn't affect the behavior at all.
The reason for that is very simple: that Gmail provides an RSS feed for your inbox, and Hotmail doesn't. There's a third-party service that provides a feed for Yahoo, but Hotmail is alone in the cold, as far as I know.
A Twitter plugin is in the works. It's very close to finished, actually - I've seen a working prototype version. We just have to get through a few more to-do items, but I'd expect it sometime this fall. :)
