@Neutralize: Ironically, I use CD Art Display to display everything but the art.

@CarolNanget: Yeah, I've been meaning to do that for a while. It's just tricky because I want the clock to be modular, and anyone who used it without the actual sidebar would be stuck with half a clock backing, which defeats the purpose. I'll try to think of an intuitive way to provide for that.
@AlbertaNasica: Heh, you're right. The taskbar on the top is the real one, with the clock and start button disabled. The taskbar image in Rainmeter is actually based on the one from the visual style I'm using, which is CleanGlass VS.
@pnikkosis: From the article:
@Kaelri: Also, just to consolidate everything, I've posted the theme to deviantArt. And I think I'll be posting all successive releases there.
For anyone who's confused or having problems, I just updated the download. It now includes step-by-step instructions for getting every part of the package up and running.
@ryemcc: Ooh. That looks useful. Thanks. :)
I've e-mailed Lifehacker, and hopefully the link in the article will be fixed in short order. In the meantime, here's the new URL:
@undertakenbylife: You could try making a shortcut to the Recycle Bin and directing Rainmeter to that. :)
@Charging_Mooses: Links?
@Szeto: That one's the Samurize config, called "Arcs." It's included in the same package.
Sorry, everyone. I probably went way over Dropbox's sharing bandwidth.
@Aanidaani: Is that Taskbar/Clock/Analog/Little Clock? I'll look into it and update the download if there's a problem. :)
@Joshiii-Kun: The wallpaper can be found here. It's also included in the theme download.
@Scoops: Really, now... I'll have to look into that. Dunno if it'll offsets Rainmeter's other assets (anti-aliasing FTW!), but it shall get a fair trial.
@SenorDunda: It's just a preview shot for the theme. It's not the setup I'm actually using.
I had a discussion recently about the possibility of major external devices, like video cards, for notebooks and the like. Apparently they've developed one that connects through an ExpressCard port (2.5 Gbit/s). Not to get ahead of ourselves, but at this rate, it sounds like USB 4.0 could be powerful enough that the…
Yeah, I'm skeptical of this article, as are others. It's an analysis based entirely on the "pre-beta release," so there are clearly more changes to be made. Aren't there reports that Microsoft is eliminating millions of lines of code, for one? And then the much-regaled performance boost. It wouldn't surprise me if the…
@pinkydead: Maybe you'd look at your desktop more often if there was something to see. ;)
I likes it. I've been trying to do something similar with a Samurize theme - a style that provides useful functions while blending in with the wallpaper. And this is a very effective way to achieve that. Nicely done.
