I'm not disappointed this season is over. Though I am disappointed that it ended just as Deputy Gutterson started to actually have some real dialogue. And what wonderful dialogue it was. I was embarrassed for the hosts. They mostly just ignored him (which, considering their questions — or non-questions — was probably a good thing). Jacob was really good natured and put up with their incessant yammering better than I did. That's no way to treat Tim Gutterson, people.

He could have manipulated another situation that led to shooting Augustine the same way he shot what's his name in the very first episode in Miami. Gone "all-Raylan" on his ass. But he chose a darker way.

But Raylan did turn his back and walk away after seeing Nicky's car explode. He didn't report it. That's got to be worse than the set up. If he hadn't been there when it happened — that would have been a murkier situation. To me, the real line Raylan stepped over was when he walked away. So his real crime is
