I actually never got around to the DLC the first time, so my recent playthrough was the first time I got to do any of the 4 DLCs. So nice to experience it all without all the bugs and crashing. I actually had a relatively bug-free playthrough.

Yeah I get what you’re saying. But it’s a reviewer’s job to put a game on blast if it launches in a near-unplayable state. At launch, I think it was perfectly valid to write off F:NV due to the bugs.

I dunno, I remember New Vegas at launch being perhaps the buggiest AAA game I’ve ever played. I never had any other game on my Xbox 360 CTD so frequently as that one did. It was barely playable for a while. I don’t think the reviews were hyperbole at all.
