Mooney and Grodin were both legends...and slept on mercilessly. I’m sad to lose them both. My faves:

I’m remembering the legend, Paul Mooney by watching some of his best funniest moments.

“Paul Mooney and Charles Grodin fistfight in Heaven.”

Damn, it’s like someone keeps trying to put out the fire of life. Paul Mooney was a masterpiece and masterful at what he did. Loved reading that he served in the Army, was a circus ring announcer, kicked Richard Pryor out for wanting to have an orgy,  still became friends with him and turned him into “Dark Twain”. I

He showed us that you don’t always have to be the biggest star to be the brightest.

Oh I get the reference is black magazines...although...it reads more Flava and Smooth magazine than Vibe and XXL to me. Vibe and XXL rarely gave you overtly sexy covers, even when it was a female artist whose brand was selling sex appeal. And if they were going for the “girl group” vibe they’d have had the three of

Yeah, if it weren’t for the fact I know they are separate acts I would have thought they were a group. I thought the cover was a shout out to the old all black covers we used to see in magazines.

I don’t get the styling. They either should have dressed them like they were in the same girl group or dressed them as the solo artists they are. Instead, there’s an off-note because Sza look like she’s in TLC and the other two look like they’re in a modern EnVougue.
