No it doesn't but marketing oftentimes doesn't make sense but DOES work. The color of packaging, color of aisles, the ordering of aisles in a store.... just THOSE do a lot of subtle psychological manipulation of the consumer and the child.

There's probably around 12 female action figures (if you ignore aliens and count the numerous different outfits for Leia and Padme) out there for purchase and that's total, not what wave of characters might be in a store. With the new 8 or 10 inch figures (the Black series), there's only Princess Leia Slave girl.
