Every Whovian thing Gatiss touches turns to crap (including the 10th Doc ep he starred in) and he's not doing Sherlock any favors. I enjoy his performance as Mycroft but keep him out from behind the typewriter, I say

Great story.  Compelling and rich.

It's both.  It's post-discriminatory in that no one goes "MAAAAKE OUUUUT" when two female characters are getting close to each other, but the show does take a certain glee in giving you two topless actresses rolling around together.  The proof?  How many guy-guy hookups compared to girl-girl ones?
