What he did is literally the same thing as what happens in the vomit commit- a parabolic flight path. It was just at higher altitude than in a 747. Branson experienced brief “zero gravity” because his “spaceship” was falling towards earth just like you would if you jumped out of a plane.

Largest source of revenue for SpaceX is private satellite launches. The government does pay for launches, but a lot of those are launches the government would have done anyways- SpaceX is just cheaper. There’s also the Starlink system, which is likely to be a pretty big revenue source as it gets out of its beta stages.

Fun fact. There are almost 200,000 vehicle fires reported annually in the USA. Vast majority of fires are cars filled with explode liquid fuel. I’m not Tesla apologist, but it appears to be Jalopnik’s goal to showcase every Tesla fire.

This is exactly why police departments need to be abolished and rebuilt from the ground up. The system is far beyond any sort of reform, and is failing both citizens and any good police that are left.
