You are not just something right, you are doing it all right.

The dipshit who administered my driving test actually deducted points for doing that. He wanted me to downshift through each gear as I came to a stop.

I’ve definitely heard the argument that “brakes are cheaper than a clutch”.

This is the way I’ve always done it. It just makes sense to not put the wear and tear on your clutch and transmission. Anyone who says otherwise is shift happy and extremely annoying to ride along with, IMO.

Fair point, although downshifting while engine braking isn’t going to hurt a slush box or double clutch auto. I downshift in my slush-Mini Cooper S and in my dc Alfa 4C all the time when going downhill. Then again, I’ve also never used Launch Control in my 4C because I don’t want to wear out the clutches.

That’s what I normally do, too. For normal every day driving, that’s all that’s necessary.

People actually believe it harms their cars?

Ok, so I’m going to try not to completely bash another person’s opinion by expressing my own, but, well, I think K-cars were crap.

Talk about a logical dilemma...

this is the best that all, and any K car can be!

Definition of an oxymoron: See phrase “Best K Cars.”

I was hoping for a VW ALH-TDI swap. ;(

This made me Nash my teeth...

Stop bashing the styling as “generic”! I’d much rather have simple styling than the atrocities that Toyota has been throwing out lately. Bring back simple smooth curves!

For scale:

Sun maid it bad for others.

Those windows stand up to Florida Man every day of the year.

Sure, some will do that. But Tesla could have said no.
And they didnt. they helped the owners. This is a massive PR success for them. “hey, we really really care!”. And i cant say they dont

I have one just like it. It’s a Turbo Encabulator.
