As someone who spent over 20 years at two very large DOD contractors doing QC work on low volume, ultra high precision part production, I can say that you hit the nail right on the head. Only difference is that some of us quit rather than to ‘pencilwhip’ tests. This happens when they put the quality arm of the company…
“Yeah. I’m in my 40's now......”
You’re just getting old, like me. The older you get, the younger everyone else looks. For example, whenever I see pictures of Justin “Ralphie” Westbrook or David “Rusty” Tracy, I keep thinking they are still in high school.
Here’s one of my favorite homebuilts. No details other than it looks (to me, anyway) like a home made Soviet version of a 1960 Buick.
I preferred her in The Avengers, actually.
John Steed and Mrs. Peel of The Avengers were already using it.
They already did (sort of). It’s in Argyle, NW of DFW airport and south of Denton.
He needed to get something. His Lincolns are getting a little long in the tooth (not to mention having dents in the roofs).
I’ve often wondered why Chrysler never made a 2dr hatchback (hardtop) version of the PTC. Should have been easy (and maybe even cheaper) since the convertible already had the proper long doors and the “B” pillar moved rearward. Small cars always look better with 2 doors rather than 4 anyway.
Doing for bees what they already did for corn. Have you ever checked out
At least the cops aren’t pulling you over and “forcing” you to give up your DNA like they did in Fort Worth few years back. I wonder if it’s the same outfit?
Everything that’s old is new again. I give you the Kaiser Traveler and Frazer Vagabond from the late 40's thru mid 50's.
He should be all right as long as he doesn’t try any fast cornering.
Trump to caddie: “Go find my ball, and make sure you find it someplace good!”
Damn! I discovered (too late) that this clip was an edited version which cut out the part about the history of British Leyland.
Teslas work though. How about L U C A S (5 letters) and K I N J A (5 letters)? Neither of them work most of the time.
Watch and learn (and laugh)...
Back in 1997 (+/- a year anyway), I flew a late night flight from DFW to Kansas City and while I wasn’t exactly alone, there were only about 8 other passengers on this L-1011 wide body. Very enjoyable experience.
