Well, not at that particular store, but they are out there.

I’ve always like that car too. Do you know you can get a 1:43 scale model of it?

Almost right.  Being indoors, Racelogic’s device doesn’t have to compete with, or override, the real GPS signals like it would if it was outdoors, so the range would be much greater.

I agree with this.  I’m also guessing that the reason it’s spread out over such a big area is that while it might have a 30-60ft range outdoors where it has to overpower the real GPS signals, indoor ranges are much larger because it doesn’t have to compete with the real signals.

Had something very similar happen to me, only I was on the roof of my house messing with my antenna on a windy day. I finished up and climbed down, and after cleaning up, my (then) wife and I went to another couple’s house for dinner. I kept feeling like I had ‘something’ in my eye, and it got worse through the

It’s just a name, like “WeatherEye”, or “Ford-a-Matic”, or even “Cruise Control”. Do you think any of these things will actually watch the weather, automatically drive your Ford, or totally control your cruise? Besides, aviation autopilots only help the pilot stay on course and at their desired altitude. If something

You forgot one...

Having any part of my body sticking up out of a sunroof is near the top of things I avoid doing at all costs. Back in the early 60's, my aunt, who lived in Austria, had two fingers chopped off when the car she was riding in hit something at fairly low speed (around 10mph or slower). She had braced herself with her

Ever since the launch, Starman has been moving away from Earth. I happened to check in on “Where is Starman” a week or so ago, and caught the moment when Starman reached maximum distance from Earth. At about 12:30am CST on Feb. 22, the counters switched from going away from Earth to moving towards it. I got this

I’ve always loved these Japanese kei van tributes to other cars and trucks.

To be fair, do you ever comment on someone else’s T-shirt?

Because you’re probably not an old fart like me.  Also, it’s because like that engine, it’s been disposed of in the junkyard of television and cinema, YouTube. Here’s the whole series for your parts-picking enjoyment.

That junkyard didn’t happen to be owned by Andy Griffith, did it?

I know. I’ve never owned a car that had them so I have no idea at all what they cost. I was just trying to figure out what the $1,400 went to, especially since he wasn’t even getting tires himself.

Don’t forget the zipper lane merge. Done right, it moves traffic right along, but requires drivers to let someone go in front of them at some point. In the US, it’s “screw you, I’m not going to let you in front of me!” while riding a foot off the bumper of the car in front of them.

My ‘07 Panther has a 2.73 rear end, and it’s only turning 1,700 rpm at 70mph. In fact, I don’t think it hits 2,000 rpm until you’re above 80 mph.  Right now, I get between 26 and 27 mpg cruising at 75mph (of course, mpgs suck in-town).

Yeah, I think you’re right. According to the linked article, he was only in there for a couple of tire pressure sensors, not tires:

What difference would the height make? So what if it’s low? It’s not like you’re going to be using it while you’re moving.

Same here in Texas. I got pulled over by DPS on US 287 near Bowie in my Astro van once because I had my front plate propped up behind the windshield. He gave me a warning and told me to fix it. I did so that night, and sure enough the very next day, the same trooper pulled up along side of me in the same area to see
