Idling is rougher on an engine because the oil pressure isn’t what it is when you’re driving, you don’t have air coming into the radiator to help cool things, and a number of other things. BTW, here’s where that 33 mile figure comes from...the Ford Fleet manual. The P71 you’re looking at might only have 60K miles on

For those who don’t believe you about the 1hr=33 mile thing.

It didn’t hit anything, so, probably not.

Not a big deal.  He was just horsing around.

Do you want to hear James May’s opinion of brown?

There was a guy years ago that posted a picture of his Tesla Model S that was actually silver, but the lens he used combined with the sky’s reflection on the snow (I don’t know, really) made it look like a gorgeous metallic blue color. I christened it “Electric Blue”. I wonder how the Tesla Semi would look in this

Uncomfortable, yes. But a health hazard? What do you think people did before A/C and ice making machines were invented and put into common use in the early 20th century? In the south, if it was hot, there was no escape from the heat. It was hot indoors, hot outdoors, even hot sitting under a shade tree in the summer.

That’s pretty common for delivery companies. UPS bought a bunch of Sprinters awhile back to try out. I knew the typical UPS step-van trucks don’t have A/C, but the driver of one of the Sprinters told me that they don’t either. Since A/C comes standard on Sprinters, it was a case of UPS special ordering a batch of A/C

If you squint really hard, you can see the resemblance, especially in the greenhouse area.

Haven’t Cubans been doing this for years?  Anyway, that trunk is wide enough for two Beetle engines back there side by side.  Hmmmm....

If it were me, I’d go the early 60's T-Bird route. It won’t have a manual transmission, much less paddle shifters, and it won’t be loud (unless you ruin it with an aftermarket exhaust), but you WILL be noticed and it would be much more practical as a daily driver than an exotic supercar.   It would even look good next

No, that won’t work for him. Everything he says, including having a BH address, seems like it’s meant to impress others, especially those who know nothing about cars. To the majority of people in BH, that Lancia looks like a riced up VW Golf/Rabbit and will only impress hard care gear heads. My advice is to buy

Maybe consider cleaning out your garage?

How about doing it to a Flex instead?

I always thought the Ford Flex would make a good starting point for a small light duty pickup.

Land Rover has got that covered for you.

I never noticed it, but eggs are cheap.  Try it for yourself and see what you think.  One suggestion though... put a paper plate over it before nuking it.  For the first minute or so, it’s gonna pop and spit before settling down and cooking.
