It depends on what you’re looking for. I’m guessing that Subarus are in very high demand in the Seattle area, hence the high price. If you want to look at something else however, there are tons of very lightly used late model Grand Marquis out there for well under $10K or less. Built like a truck, are reliable

If they last forever, why have you had 4 of them?  I would think one would have been enough.

I wouldn’t be caught dead in that thing!

Must be a nightmare for the alignment shops!

The car that was just found was known as “Little Red”. That b&w picture may have been of it’s sister car, nicknamed “Green Hornet”. Also, since they were both developmental prototypes, they were probably played with a bit. For example, those tail lights in the b&w photo might have been non-functioning lights just for

You can thank Henry for that second one...

You Sir, and an idiot. He did exactly the right thing given the time and circumstances. Whether HE should have done it is another question altogether, but remember that there were no cops on the scene yet. Also keep in mind that the traffic behind him had already seen the plane come down and have slowed down and in

“Pardon me, do you happen to have any Great Value?”

“The first use of the word “automobile” I could find.......”

The word “automobile” (sometimes hyphenated, sometimes not) was used in the 1880s and 1890s to describe guided torpedos, not cars. Here are a couple of screenshots of articles from the Chicago Tribune from back then...

Actually, it’s more like an auto broker. You want a 1970 Thundercougarfalconbird really bad, so you pay me $50K to buy one for you and deliver it no later than 6 weeks from now. I know I can get one for a lot less, especially if I can jump on the TCFB forums sites and places like Jalopnik and trash talk the car with

This will only be popular when pigs fly. Oh, wait.........

I do mac’n’cheese the lazy guy’s way. I’ll stick some pasta into the IP, add the appropriate amount of liquid in the form of chicken broth, some Italian Seasoning, and cook on high pressure for 5 min. When it’s done, I scoop in about a 1/3 cup of Rico’s Nacho cheese sauce (about $6 for a #10 size can at Sam’s) and

I live alone too, and I’m barely kitchen-friendly, and I’ve got the 3qt IP mini. It’s great!  Most all the recipes you find online are for the 6qt, so you just cut everything in half (except make sure you have at least a cup of liquid in there). Cooking times are unaffected. I’ve yet to see recipes for 15 or 20 people

My car is low tech, and that’s fine with me. That said, it’s a Ford and has the keypad for getting into it without a key. I would love to see an ignition keypad as well. Just punch in the code (you can pick your own) and off you go. No RFID, no wireless signal that can be intercepted, no need to carry a key or key fob

For the name, how about Spacey McSpaceforce? It will appeal to the majority of low I.Q. Trump supporters as being not too complicated and easy to remember, plus part of the name is after someone else who liked to “grab ‘em by the (in Spacey’s case) nuts. Works on so many levels. As for the logo, I’ll leave that up to

I’m glad I didn’t see that a few years ago. Back in the 90's, I got home one night around 1 am (I worked the late shift), and found several messages from my neighbor on my answering machine. She said that my dog had apparently suffered some kind of stroke and was laying down in their 50 acre pasture. She didn’t want

You don’t have her number, do you?

That’s actually not a bad idea. It would keep the sun out of the interior and give your SUV that sedan delivery look without blocking vision from the inside (assuming the louvers are angled correctly). I wonder if Weathertech is going to be all over this.
