@brc is never late, because of his v8: North Alabama isn't that bad. We actually have mountains and decent scenery. South Alabama however is great if you deer hunt or really REALLY love pine trees.

I've heard these trucks with the 300 six useful for dropping trees should you leave your chainsaw at home....Seriously, its Alabama after all.

Oh dear GOD!!! The last one of these things I saw was when my mom ditched hers off and got a '91 Chevy Lumina. I remember how bad the air sucked in that car especially with the red friggin vinyl seats. Hers had the 3800 motor, but I never got to hoon it. The lumina was a different story though. BTW, they did

BFH. Made my day when that and #2 tool (2x4 stolen from a dumpster) banged the door of my truck back out after hitting a deer so I could roll my window back down.

I wish they had references for older models. My '98 Chevy says it was built in Ft. Worth instead of Indiana. '94 Miata was built in Hiroshima out of old Asahi cans. Great car, just sounds like japanese beer cans hitting the ground when I close the door.

DeVry has stock????? Dang, was never mentioned in any of my business or management classes I attended. Not that it wasn't mentioned, just that I didn't necessarily attend them all.

I tried taking the tour on a Saturday, but got tired of waiting and missed the views. Did enjoy what I saw though. Came back in the spring for AutoRama and had a much better time there. Someone else also did the driving.

@1dollar93: I was actually told be a reputable shop owner that on my miata it showed as much power on a dyno as the intake kit he sold. He did it on his own car as well. Mine sounds really scary due to the fat hole in the header as well as the "tuned" intake.

Everybody who calls himself an "enthusiast" needs to do a little ghetto now and then, its a lot of fun. I've done some seriously ghetto sound systems in cars because it fits.

Lose the restrictor plates. People have been moaning about talladega since the thing was built. After every stinking race they beg and beg for the plates to go and I say let them have it. Personally, I've been better action at the dirt track across the street from the speedway, but that's just me. I also have it

Toyota corolla wagon 4wd. Those were early 80's, but after the AMC.

I've sampled supposedly the best 'shine in the area and I must say I enjoyed it more than stuff I've bought in the store before. Actually burned less.

'86 Pontiac Fiero with a widebody kit and really wide tires. Said Fiero would be a 427 aluminum block worked over by LPE and feature twin turbos.

Gunracks with anything but guns in them. Grow a set already and put some ordinance in those things.

Am i wrong or is that the "Road Warrior" Car. The first one had a different nose. Max could have been driving a Trabant and I'd still be scared shitless of him after killing his wife and kid.

I was a plastic model junkie doing my own crazy engine swaps and suspension setups. Never did grow out of it. I had a HUGE box of scrap parts to use on later projects, so I never ran out of ideas. I built a '69 Pontiac Judge with an adjustable rear suspension and tires that were never designed to fit on it. Latest

Proof that good things do come out of the state of Alabama. I thought of Johnson's as a bunch of goobers in the past, but now the projects seem a lot higher class than some of the older ones.

@discontinuuity: It is kinda dark in there even though there is plenty of light. My photos from 2 yrs ago came out kinda weird. They really are that shiny though.

I want to take it camping and use as an air mattress. Or maybe to a drive-in movie.

@nagruv5150: maybe I should scroll down next time...oops.
