back when they did it with early halo, the content was so greatt, and you weren’t truly locked, but goddamn if D1 and D2 aren’t extreme versions of that behavior. :(

Nailed it. I played D2. Their focus on a story isn’t even that good of a story. The Taken King was the best thing they ever did. They made the game a single player campaign with a sandbox worlds to go to. I will gladly go back to D1 even though i am maxed. The lore and mystery behind EVERYTHING is what made it

you also have to remember that most of the people working at Bungie during their Halo days jumped ship either just before or just after Microsoft got rid of them. some went to 343 and some went to other studios. alot of the people that made the Halo games great aren’t even at Bungie anymore.

It is interesting, especially if you read Jason’s book (although I think the Destiny chapter was published here at one point), but Bungie seems to run as if it’s still 1999 and to a degree they’re the only ones that know what’s right. That doesn’t mean they haven’t made good-to-great games in their past, but they seem

That’s the Destiny cycle. Months of silence, then the promise of transparency. And it goes on and on and on.

They need to move shotguns and snipers back to energy weapons. They feel worthless in a power slot. Give random perks back to weapons and armor, no reason to grind for good rolls anymore. The mod system seems like a total after thought. As a hardcore Destiny 1 player I’m very disappointed in the end game and lack of

Said fourteen year old probably revels in infuriating people, very likely has a litany or racist, homophobic put downs on the ready, can totally go fuck himself.

I hope every shitty asshole kid ruining an experience people pay money for has to have their parents dragged into court on their behalf.

WoW has been giving all but the current expansion away to subscribers for free since about 2012, though, at least. I mean, that’s a crummy solution, but it’s better than nothing. (and really, what they did with Halo 3 is the most undefendable shit I’ve ever seen a game company do.)

Funnily enough, they did the exact same thing with Halo 3's DLC, and it always pissed me the hell off how no one ever held it against them. Especially considering that, at first, Bungie said they weren’t going to do that, but did it anyways. I’ve even seen people defend it. Fucking defending it.

We do have a concept called “guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.” Considering most of these issues take place between two people with typically few witnesses, it’s hard to get a conviction.

I also don’t want innocent people on death row. I guess I’m a jerk that way.

While I certainly prefer people who have genuinely been harassed to speak up and get the justice they deserve, I am concerned about false reports as well. Because harassment trials are commonly held in the court of public opinion, it can be very powerful regardless of fact. Even if a false claim is disproven, it could

One frustrating thing I’ve learned from experience: no matter how well liked you are, no matter how good your reputation, there’s always the chance that people will turn on you for talking. We once had someone on staff that... pretty much everyone who worked with him agreed that some of his behaviours were alarming;

See you at Hyperion!

I am absolutely positive that there is NO PLEASING some of you. You’ve won. Its over. All your crying and bitching about “loot boxes” and “predatory business practices” has made a EA bow to you, and yet many of you, ARE STILL BITCHING AND COMPLAINING. Let it go trolls. Again, you never had to buy this shit show in the

I think these types of pieces only lead to more harassment.

I’m buying the game for single player and bot modes. I can ignore loot crates and won’t buy them. The game can still be enjoyed, just don’t reward the predatory parts of it that ask for additional money.

Mazda infotainment is rubbish (as of 2017).

Holy shit. I’d never buy a Mazda/Suzuki
