I Know That You Twisted Last Summer But Writing Hooks Is Hard
I Know That You Twisted Last Summer But Writing Hooks Is Hard
Disambiguation of that title can be a bitch but the film in question is an all-time great.
^ This.
I'll never lament MM (and Dave Stewart: respect) doing his own Hellboy work, but you're right that BPRD could sure use some Fegredo.
Corben is also pretty weak, imo. Duncan Fegredo is the only non-Mignola artist I fully trust with these stories.
The Mignola-verse is a wondrous, magical place, but the shockingly crap pencils of Guy Davis kept me away from BPRD for a long time. I didn't realize he's gone - looking forward to jumping back in.
That's a great observation, thank you for sharing.
If only the showrunners had had the balls to just let Dexter die….
That would have been way more dignified. For that matter, Jax standing up on the bike and mooning the cops and doing an Ace Ventura laugh as he hit the truck would have been more dignified.
I just watched it and I'm still tore up* and can barely stomach the idea of scrolling down to all the hatred below, but I can't miss one last round with you glorious dummies.
You really can. And should. But you won't be able to. That's ok, there are rewards ahead, if the frustrations don't get too much in the way.
You know who else made snarky apologies after passive-aggressive comments about the other interlocutor having never spelled anything wrong ever?
There was also that one time she pushed it across the Atlantic.
I just typed almost the exact same thing above. We continue to be in some weird kind of sync, frauline.
Gemma said to the woman working at the old folks' home that Tara Knowles died "a few months ago".
Or maybe he's decided that his boys will be better served not being raised by a hardcore criminal, whose presence is fundamentally corruptive. A good parent also knows when he isn't up to the job, and tries to see that his kids are raised by caring people who are.
"No, literally… I was the only employee left standing. No one would come for automotive work so I made it a biker museum."
Upvoting you both for not being the sort of tiresome dicks who hang around message boards bitching about a show that no one is making them watch.
What devo said.
I think Dawn's grasp at Noah as Seal Team Rick were walking away was just her limp attempt at saving face, and showing she still had the determination and power to lead this group that she knows dislikes her, but, again: tater tots.
