Miller & Liu are good together; it's a given at this point. I found the episode a bit unfocused. I might say average, but I think there have been stretches in which the average episode was better than this one. I guess I'd say this was a below average episode, valuable mainly for its insight into the family stuff.

And it's still going to be four more years until we have a President!

They should start putting the license-holder's digits in the song.

That was quite the to-do in the literary blogosphere. The editor admitted to intentionally "diversifying" the lineup.

It's true; revenue is not all profit. A lot of it is bloat. And, apart from leaning on big names, the model appears to have basically been buying smaller publishers and milking any noticeable trends for as much as one can.

Despite whatever doomy articles about amazon, big publishing still takes in tons of money, yet it feels like they remain pretty risk-averse. Still in the shoring-up period, it seems.

When men were men; and Elves were men; and Dwarves were men; and Hobbits were (basically) men; and Southrons were (technically speaking) men.

For a while there, you couldn't visit a lit-blog without diversity coming up. That's fine and all, but it seemed sometimes the only articles they were giving to (or publishing by) "diverse" writers were articles about "diversity" itself (or lack thereof), which, frankly, grew tiresome. Nothing against it per se,

Weird that so many women don't publish more women.

What article was that, do you remember?

Lol, oh man.

I've had that happen, too. Still, it seems better to lock them down than erase the whole conversation to which people might wish to reply, however late.

Couldn't they just close the Disqus threads and have Spot on the new stuff? Maybe they want people to be able to continue posting on old articles, though.

So I have to steal the Needle Drop guy's vinyl copy, then rip it to hard drive, then burn it to CD?

… Metallique!

Music should've hanged it up right then and there.

Can I still get Lulu on CD? They didn't burn all those yet, did they? I'll pay for the shipping.

Almost.

I failed to catch even one episode of this.
