I think Hydrogen may be viable IF the source of Hydrogen is economical. Using energy intensive means to extract H2 is a No-Go. All governments need invest heavily in LFTR\SMR Nuclear, geothermal if that makes sense (i.e., Iceland), Wind/Solar + batteries.  Maybe the new Sodium based batteries will come to viability. 

Only when we get the charging infrastructure in place at a price competitive price. The game so far is to increase the price of gas. Not the way it should be done. People remember, they don’t buy.
