Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Are we so old now that Dreamcast-era style Sonic games are “classic”?

I was thinking of what you said when I was playing yesterday. I hadn’t opened up the southeastern area yet, so I went there and decided to just walk the southernmost eastbound road to see where it went. Soon enough an NPC told me what was at the end of the road, so I thought, “cool, let’s go there!” The road takes

What I love the most about Breath of the Wild is that the draw distance and the distinctness in the world combined means that even though I’m traveling on foot and with the HUD off, I never feel lost. I can look out into the distance and see some landmark that I recognize, and know just where I am. This is probably

I’ve been doing this more often lately, even just walking. I find myself sticking too much to the paths if I’m on a horse.

You nailed it. I feel totally fine with getting sidetracked in BotW, because it never feels like I’m getting sidetracked. It feels like I’m in a constant state of adventure, and I love it. I’ve already traveled so far, and like you I still have half the map to uncover! And I’m looking forward to it!

You can ride on deer, though!

That’s awesome, Gita. You’ve got some really cool horses there! I really, really love getting lost in Hyrule, and how the game lets me spend as much time as I want on whatever I set my mind on doing.

I think you should be sure to read Kotaku’s take too, as Gizmodo has been extraordinarily negative. The Switch is fine. I personally love how it presents console-quality gaming on a handheld device. Does it have a lot to prove? Yes. But don’t let Gizmodo’s perspective take that out of context.

The 30-pin actually went back to 2003 though (it was the iPod connector first). Apple didn’t even formally discontinue it until 2014. But I agree with you, size would be the reason I would see this as being less likely to happen.

I think glitches are my favorite part. Sure, skill/luck clips are cool. But I never find myself grinning at what they offer. Glitches provide more humor than awe.

Nuff said.

Now playing

I’m about the same age. The first video playback machine I can remember from my childhood was a CED. That said, I’m the only person I know who remembers that they existed. They were never really poular.

No way, in Capcom time the US pulled out of Vietnam in the year 19XX, which made Guile plenty old enough

He was just that much of a badass at 14.

Super Mario U needs to be on this list— ZombiU is very average.
