That’s the problem. If you haven’t planned ahead well enough, you can get into these situations. You can’t just tell them “nah, just take the day off”. They need/want to work and you need to make progress.

Yeah, there were some really strange decisions made in the Chris Carter episodes. It seemed like he tried to cram a full 24 episode season’s worth of content and character “growth” in 6 episodes. In the last episode, things jumped so fast that it was hard to understand why the characters were behaving like they were.

I think that’s better than my usual choice of names, “Why!?” or “WHAT?!”
