You can tell by drawing a line vertically from the end of the A-pillar down. If the line is touching the back of the wheel opening or is further back than that, it’s not cab forward. If the line intersects the wheel opening, usually by about a quarter to half way, then it’s cab forward.

I like mine flat on the top as well as the bottom...just like my women. Wait, what?

I couldn’t t care less about Metrosmith but these Aerovans are cool.

I would “Walk This Way” “To The Other Side” “If That’s What It Takes” to restore this van. Call me “Crazy” but “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”. “Dude” “This thing can “Come Together” with “Sweet Emotion” if we can get Steven Tyler “Back In The Saddle” of this old ride. Maybe I’m “Jaded” by “The Same Old Song and Dance”

This is something I’m curious about. What’s a reasonable amount of time to expect Caltrans to fix these barriers? By some accounts, it was damaged as much as two weeks earlier. Their solution in the meantime was a simple traffic cone in front of it, as seen in screenshots from dashcams about an hour before the crash.

How many Mustang drivers are suing Ford after a Cars n Coffee “incident” ?

The tech is fully baked. Keep your hands on the wheels and your eyes on the road, you’ll be fine.

And would a reasonable person ignore both the warning in their driver’s manual and repeated warnings prior to collision asking them to focus on their vehicle guided by experimental tech which travelling at high speed?

Does American tort law not have a “reasonable person” standard or what? A reasonable person (who has already decided to buy this vehicle and activate this system) would understand that these systems are experimental and would pay full attention.

Exactly this. People forget the responsibility of control is on the “driver” of the vehicle. Not the computer the driver turned on and didn’t pay attention to. That’s why the new Nissan X-trail ads worry me. They actively tell drivers they don’t need to pay as much attention because the brakes work even when the

Ugh, stop with the “they’re responsible because they called it autopilot” crap. Driver = moron. He even admitted to knowing this stretch of road was dangerous. Tesla calling it “advanced cruise control” wouldn’t change a damn thing on how people integrate with this new technology which some humans will never be bright

Both are at fault, but the driver more so than Tesla. Tesla needs to change the technology name from Autopilot to just cruise control. And the driver for thinking he can drive without his hands like a fucking Houdini. He did a Houdini though, and disappeared from life forever.

Somewhat monochrome girl on a vw
