Yes, they did. They couldn’t do much about the roof (old, dry wood well alight when they got to it and with a wind fanning the flames) so they concentrated on the interior, the works of art and the two towers at the western end with about as much success as you could hope for, although the internal damage is worse…

More than anything else, truck buyers want to impress their buddies at the boat club.

Most importantly, pickup buyers want big-ass grilles. Where’s the humongous fucking grille, Rivian? Are you even trying to compete??

I love the idea of a silent pickup for use in the back country. It will create amazing opportunities to see (but hopefully not hit) wildlife that currently gets scared away by the sound of my truck.

Saw some impressively mod’d trucks and SUVs when I was there. Lots of off-road touring.
