I recommend the first generation honda civic. There aren’t many out there, they’re relatively cheap and just look at that lovely orange color.

The problem is that they aren’t even legally allowed to sell any effected TDI until a fix is deployed for them, not that they can’t sell them because nobody wants them (although it will be interesting to see if consumer demand will even exist after this whole scandal).

A lot of thieves won’t bother attempting to steal a manual car if they don’t know how to actually drive it. Why would they bother breaking in and attempting to drive a manual when they could walk a block further and find another car with an automatic transmission?
