It's not an API but a development process. Basically you ask nVidia to help you make your game for PC and they support you by showing how to eke out every last ounce of performance from their proprietary technologies. In other words they influence your base code in such a way that nVidia cards will have an advantage

Also damn it. I can't even get my corrections right. Demo = less sales. No demo = more.

Damn it. Won't let me edit.

Yes and no.

There have been studies that show that a game with a demo is actually going to sell less than a game with one. I don't remember what the reasoning was, but that was the general trend.

They actually do have a Valyrian steel reforging industry of the like, three smiths. The maesters chains represent what that maester is good at, with different skillsets granting different chain types. One of those chains is Valyrian steel. Pretty sure the metal was used in other applications.

I would assume that the

I would suggest making another set of distinctions - the one between the brass and the ground forces. You can criticize and deplore the guys at the top (hello General Westmoreland!), you can be somewhat critical of the guys in the middle ranks, but you don't say shit about the people who actually do the job on the

"where everyone can suck on some dick shaped loli's"

Not the most thought-out phrase I've ever seen. Also, pretty sure the dick festival is a local thing that foreigners report on for "lol, Japan".

I can't speak for the Fallout mod since I own neither game, but the plan for Skywind is to not use any visual assets as per Bethesda's request. Pretty sure some of the audio gets lifted (when you could still download, there was a submod that added all the Morrowind audio dialog {mostly for when you passed someone by}

No, Bethesda won't permit it; they'd be hit with a pile of Cease and Desist letters. Way back when Skywind got going, a Bethesda rep actually showed up on their forum and explained company policy. They don't condone using assets from title A in title B. Assets can be "inspired" by the other game, but you're not

Not really. The Morrowind theme (with some alterations) has become the Elder Scrolls theme, and serves as the musical skeleton for the title songs of Oblivion and Skyrim. Although, the Oblivion version has more horns and less flutes.

Please elaborate.

It certainly can't be physical size, because the gamespace of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim are all within spitting distance of each other.... and I doubt that it's date size because, well, that rarely gets smaller.

It's not entirely clear yet.

The most basic answer is that you're playing Skyrim with all the more modern mechanics and a more powerful engine, but everything is just like ES:IV. Where things get iffy is whether they'll apply the same degree of creative license to Skyblivion as they are to Skywind. This is pretty early

Yes and no. From what I read on the Skywind forums, there'll be a submod that'll let you switch between the regions. However, for the primary release, the idea is that you play one or the other... for rather obvious canonical and RP reasons.

For now, yes. Problem is that you can't get a mod working without assets - but to do a proper release, they'll need all-new assets. So these alpha versions (Skywind was/is the same way) use the copy and pasted materials with the intent of replacing everything.

I'm not sure I understand how the swimsuit fits in here....

Pom-Fox? As in, you bred a Pomeranian with a Fox?

Eh, depends what kind of culture they had.

In Morrowind, Dunmer are split between the settled folk and the Ashlanders who live a nomadic lifestyle. The Bosmer live in trees and aren't supposed to harm plant life. It's quite possible that the Falmer didn't erect a lot of cultural artifacts. Alternatively, the ones they

I would say that the issue was more with the landscape and the outfits. The landscape was bland (topogrophy was terrible, with Cyrodiil being a giant soup-bowl) and the armor sets were way too standard fantasy.

The fuck? Is Donal Logue in all the shows now? Vikings, Copper (cancelled), SVU, and... where the hell else did I see him recently?

Tennessee. Guy isn't from Florida.

Far as I can tell, most weirdos in Florida aren't domestic. They end up here (I'm a transplant myself) for a few reasons. The child molesters and other criminal vagrants with housing restrictions tend to be homeless a lot, so they move to a place where they wont freeze to death.
