(This is not going to happen)

That person up top doing this is the ultimate piece of shit. I guess you gotta aspire to something.

You’re a monster, basically.

Problem with healthcare, with the disappearing middle class, unsubsidized child care which can lead to compromises for something you can afford...

THIS.

So, having children should only be a luxury afforded to the affluent?

But they could afford it. Her job just didn’t give her enough leave.

Probably wondering why she didn’t take the barest precautions like finding out if a day care was licensed or not.

It also sounds like a problem with our healthcare system that she couldn’t leave her job because she was the one with the benefits.

It doesn’t sound like they couldn’t afford to have children though; just that they couldn’t afford to have one of the parents out of work.

I wouldn’t want to immediately cast blame on the daycare without knowing for sure what caused the baby’s death. At 3 months old (iirc) it’s very unlikely the baby rolled over and wasn’t noticed and he wouldn’t have been able to grab things to put in his mouth.

Pro-life is really pro-birth. Once they’re out you’re completely on your own.

Screaming, “BOOT STRAPS” at new moms? Probably? Shaming them that they shouldn’t have had a baby if she isn’t able to be home.

Jerking off to the thought of denying refugee children entry to America.

I’m a ginger and it took me forever to appreciate that.

True story - my mom and grandma have curly hair. My grandma had always gotten shit at jobs for her hair. When she finally got a union job, she wore a straight wig for her entire probationary period (a few months?) ad then the day after her probation was up, she wore her real hair to work and they couldn't say a damn

I’m so jealous. Both my parents have curly hair an mine is flat-as-a-board.

I don’t have children, but it is actually in my top ten nightmares that I would have a daughter, and she would want to be a cheerleader or beauty pageant contestant.

Hell, even asking her to put her so shameful curly hair in a bun would have been better. Still shitty, but better.

ELEVEN.
