Truly the most disturbing and detailed account I have read of his history of abuse. The only thing more troubling is that it is obvious Hardy has been enabled and “protected” for some time, now continuing into his Dallas career.
This is as important a story as Deadspin has ever done. My contempt for Hardy, Jones and Goodell is matched only by my admiration for Diana’s epic reporting.
And much respect to Deadspin for not letting this one go and publishing what they have.

Love this! I’m a nurse that worked in academic medicine for a long time, and the best residents were the ones that listened to the nurses. Not because we were always right, but because their main priority was always getting the best patient outcome, not their own need to be right.

I am a female physician. I did my residency in the 1990s and I remember the nurses as a godsend. We had to run the ER as residents when we were one year out of medical school. It was a busy urban ER and drug overdoses and end stage HIV (it was during the height of the epidemic and there was no great treatment) as well…
