The most baffling part about the Manziel videos, especially with his “videos can be old” defense, is that the elements in the video narrow down the possible date pretty quickly. He’s fucking dabbing and listening to Future. In the next one, he’s probably going to be toting a Grey Goose bottle while talking about where

But if that surgical resident had spent 73 days in rehab and showed up hung over or his employers found a video of him drinking do you think that there would be some kind of consequences? I do. He would more than likely be fired. If anything, Manziel has been given more chances than a normal person would have received

Not every player takes a drunken video of himself with a drink in his hand right after being disciplined for being caught drinking on video. It’s stupidity or alcoholism or both.

It’s not moral outrage. It’s stop being a fucking idiot. Two very different things.

Everyone needs to realize that JM wants to be Hollywood Manziel. He loves the limelight more than he loves football. Football was just the quickes way for him to get to the spot light. Now that he is there football is just getting in the way. Now he wants to be a rapper, next he will want to be an actor...he's the

So, friends with benefits?

I respectfully disagree. I’m not saying young players shouldn’t be out drinking and partying. But when it’s become distracting and a detriment to your career and your bosses and they’ve told you to stop with the videos and over-exposure, and you still do it, that’s something more than a young player just having fun.

No “and.”

But you have to respect the fact that this is incredibly foolish behavior to have stupid videos posted of him drinking. If he wants to keep drinking, then fine. But don't rub it in everyone's face.

Now playing

Used to be an exceptional, born that way athlete could pull off the partying all the time and kick ass on Sunday. Those days are over and that’s unfortunate for Johnny Eightball. You should be able to party as hard as you want up until the point of harming others. Today’s athletes, specifically NFL players work out

Seeing as his parents put him through behavioral correction programs, supported two rehab stunts and have (or at least his father has) publicly stated that Johnny had a problem with drinking to relieve stress, I’d say they’re well aware it’s a problem. The Browns do as well. After all, the Browns’ MO is not doing

Hmmm....well, then Manziel needs some new PR advice, because spending time in rehab, talking about responsibility and changing his ways, and then being filmed repeatedly while drunk is not how you restore your image.

It's crazy that someone from a strict and disciplined OIL BARON FAMILY background could have such a misplaced sense of priority and entitlement.

That framed Mike Evans jersey on the wall: At least he’s got enough humility to recognize the real reason for his success.

Did you watch the video? It looks like he took it himself.

He’s more JaMarcus Russell than Russell Wilson.

It is not fine. He is an alcoholic to the point of where it is affecting his job performance. His employers told him not to drink during the season. A rule he already violated and was punished for. If he wants to throw away a professional football career and millions of dollars just to drink “some beers” that is his

Stolen from Bomani Jones, but it bears mentioning: if he were sipping wine and listening to Adele would this be an issue?

I refuse to believe anyone, let alone a semi-serviceable QB could be this dumb. I posit that he’s doing this on purpose.

Mike Evans is the only reason he has a job; I lost count of the number of times at A&M that Manziel just ran around and then threw up a prayer which Mike Evans incredibly pulled down 40 yards downfield like the beast that he is.
