I agree. He claims that he is first and foremost an entertainer. The guy issued a few apologies, and said he was wrong for using the foul language. But he stood behind the point he was trying to make.
He probably won't be sued. See the very good Paul Newman movie 'Absence of Malice' to get a bit of a look at how difficult slander/libel is to prove against someone. Slander, which is spoken defamation, is not legally as dangerous as libel, which is written defamation.

Advice my dad gave me: think about what your situation will be in a month. It helped me to realize that difficult situations are usually not permanent, and that I can be miserable for a few days, but it won't last forever. That advice still helps me keep perspective when I'm stressed. Good luck!
