I can see why it had such an impact at 10 or 11 yrs. old. The imagination is still so strong at that age, it's hard for kids not to imagine the thing tapping at their window once the lights go out. Yikes!
One overlooked but one of my favorite scary movies is The Mothman Prophecy. Hope it gets a spot just for that face you see in the mirror for a split second. Gives me chills just typing it!
How old were you when you saw it? I enjoyed it, but good grief it's not for children!!
Actually that's a quote from Ben Franklin, it's not found in the Bible. I do agree with your sentiment though :)
Vimeo recommends uploading SD video at 640x480 2000k/s in h.264 compression. HD 1280x720 5000k/s also in h.264 (which is the same compression used on Blue-Ray btw). If you upload to youtube with these settings you will get a very similar effect. I don't think the compression is really that different if it's even…

Dude! That's what I'm talkin' about!
@whoopingchow, I'm in a similar situation. There was a book I picked up a while ago called Quitter (Closing the gap between your day job and your dream job) that has been helpful, showing me how to transition to something I really want to do. You may like to give it a look, good luck!
I feel like I came late to the party! My first was an intel mbp from 2007. It's still kicking, great machine.
And nobody panicked because it was all...part of the plan.
Ill usually shoot a cat or dog, drag them over to my bike, and leave them there as a warning. That's just me though.
I felt the same way about the Encarta disks that came with my family's shiny new Gateway 2000 computer.
If anyone wants to get into portable gaming consoles may I recommend the Gameboy Advanced SP? I'll tell you why it's good.
I like to take a brisk walk around the office building a few times a day. Helps clear my head and gives my eyes a rest!
