Then there’s the fact that she plays newcomer Isabelle, whose adorable demeanor doesn’t necessarily translate to viability in high-level Super Smash Bros. Ultimate play

As great as I believe this game is, I just cannot see myself ever playing it again (even with the DLC). I got all the shrines, the Hero’s Tunic, and even did the village sidequest.
This is the correct problem people should’ve been complaining about!
All I truly want from Square is to put out a new port of Chrono Cross so you don’t need a PS3 or Emulation to play it. They’ve done a good job bringing a bunch of other games to Switch, but this is the one thing that I would go crazy for. Re-release Chrono Trigger again too for the hell of it!
People applauding Nintendo for this are like the people applauding Bethesda for adding NPCs to F76.
Nintendo already said the DLC characters will be from franchises that haven’t had representation yet. No worries about that one.
Anyone else notice how the combat looks a LOT like Sekiro. Health/Stamina bars and “Deathblow” opportunities when you wittle down the white bar lol
I mean it’s cool that we can slap VR on so many different games, but I don’t think every game HAS to have some VR element... Especially when it doesn’t add much. I imagine this’ll last for an hour or two before people go back to playing regular Smash.
Pokemon Go Plus... +... It’s almost as if Square made that name or something
It’s really telling that all I could think when I saw this article was “Oh Nintendo lol”
I completed FF7 for the first time around... 10 years ago? (Feeling old just thinking about it)
I’ve never really taken notice of cameras, even when they were bad. I just played through every game despite the angles, whether they help or make it difficult.
Well at least they were honest from the get-go that these were only temporary... But this kinda reminds me of the F76 article about the removal of that lobby event quest that was glitched, giving players a really nice rewards. Yeah, it was an issue, but it wasn’t a BAD issue, and Bethesda could’ve earned some goodwill…
Heaven forbid there actually be any diversity in high level competition. For a game with over 70 characters, the last thing it should be is Melee again where it’s the same 5 characters competing for the top spot.
but when he returns to being just a high schooler, life can look pretty drab.
I almost made a mess of myself at work watching this video
When I look at this game, and look at F76 and Anthem before it, it makes me so happy that Ubi got it right and learned from the past mistakes of their games and others. I commend them, because the “games as a service” was looking a bit grim for a little while there. Will continue to play this one with my friends for…
Backwards compat is all I needed to hear. And with the improvements to audio they claim to be focusing on, I hope that they at least fix party chat audio.
With FFX/X-2 this week, and DD next week, I don’t know if my body can handle this much nostalgia coming to Switch.
I can’t get why people are angry about them getting exclusive games. Sony does it. Microsoft does it. Nintendo does it. Even Steam. Yes it’s annoying that you’d have to install another launcher for the sake of said exclusive, but is it really that big a deal if you wanna play the game that badly?
