Can we talk about the real issue here? How about that asshole that doesn’t know how to record a video in a cellphone.....
But at a certain point, you have to ask: is a slightly lower coefficient of drag and the gee-whiz frippery that goes along with it really worth the trouble?
They have those on Kitchenette over at Jezebel. They are fantastic.
Shit, if that happened in Virginia, the driver they caught probably would have gotten life in prison and possibly the death penalty.
It wasn’t even the rookies that were struggling. Aric Almirola was the driver of the white car that tried to pit from the middle lane and caused the wreck. He’s been around a while and should know how to get to pit road by now.
Well considering Kez gave Penske his only Cup Championship to date, I don’t think he cares too much. And he didn’t skirt responsibility for the crash he clearly made an observation that he didn’t take a different line into that corner but wasn’t sure if he just skrewed the exit and lost it or he actually hit a wet…
Easy killer. He didn’t wreck his teammate on purpose. He spun and Joey had no where to go.
Eh, it was an automatic. Nothing of value was lost.
Just keep it under 80 and you’ll stay out of jail!
Way to be “that guy” :p
Thats because you’re supposed to tie them to the roof!
Yes but we're not talking about smoothing bumps. You're talking about a hill here. Its not a simple fix These cars should not take off like an airplane period. There are certain angles where, yes, a car will still flip, but we shouldn't be seeing a car doing back flips at the top of a crest.
You do realize that that isn't a reasonable option either, right? Its a lot more indepth than just shaving the top of a hill. The solution for the P1 cars was openings at the top of the fenders and some other like the vertical plate down the spine of the car. That doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.
Probably would have been better off just stopping and waiting a second. But it appears that he would have made it through, but the Lambo, for some reason, stayed in the gas or didn't hold the brake and just pinballed back and forth across the track to take out anything in its path. The crash wouldn't have been as…
Yes it did. It was at the crest of the hill going into that turn. Similar to the Merc at Le Mans
You are obviously clueless. First, the Explorer is not an 'off-road' vehicle and is not even a body on frame SUV anymore. Its based on the Taurus chassis. Second, you have clearly never seen the inside of the new Taurus. Cops don't like it for the cramped nature of the cabin with all their equipment and its harder to…
because moving some pedestrian areas and strengthening some barriers isn't going to stop a car from going airborne. They need to do something with the aero of these cars to prevent them from getting to that point.
The Taurus is big from the outside and has limited cabin room for the necessary radios and computers. Even the trunk is nowhere as big as the outgoing Crown Vics. Its the same issue with the charger. I'm also not sure what you are talking about what an SUV brings to the traffic system?
