YES YES YES!
YES YES YES!
This is what the Fusion needs to be
They need to take away some races from Texas/Atlanta/Charlotte. 7 races between these similar tracks are unnecessary. Use some of those dates to rotate in some road courses and short tracks
It's tricky, because so many of the features really do seem to enhance driving safety, but it's usually the computers taking over things we as drivers once had to be aware of: lane-departure warnings, blind spot warnings, collision auto-braking. Sure, the help, but are they training drivers to be less engaged?
The nationwide series raced in the rain at Road America a few weeks ago. Also a V8 supercar has about 630hp and a Cup car has 900. The V8 supercar also weighs almost 500lbs less
Just because V8 supercars have similar downforce and don't use traction contol doesn't validate your point. Considering you listed other forms of racing that do have significantly more downforce and aids like traction control. With that much horsepower and lack of downforce, no matter how good the rain tires are, it…
The part about you comparing apples and oranges
I also think it has to do with getting owners on the same page when it comes to NASCAR looking to make changes to aero, HP reduction, and other technical regs.
Don't forget the lack of traction control and the significantly less downforce
Definitely closer than I'd ever want to be
Or ya know, common sense and stuff.
Am I the only one who does not want this in a vehicle? I feel this will cause people to be even more lazy and distracted behind the wheel.......
Id say this or the versa. too crappy a picture to tell for certain
Looks like the first gen Nissan Versa hatchback/wagon thing
The problem with this regulation, of course, is that Mercedes-Benz and Audi do have a "high" and "low" setting — it just isn't controlled by the driver. Instead, it's controlled by modern technology that's a LOT smarter than the average Mercedes or Audi driver. I base this statement on the sheer number of Audi A4…
Finally, somebody who gets what happened.
Speakerphone/bluetooth is no different than having a conversation with a passenger in the car. So unless you drive in complete silence your argument is invalid
it was longer than that the FoST didn't move until about 2 seconds after his light turned green
Its not like the light just turned green and he just got into the intersection a got hit. He waited once the light turned green and was 2/3 way through the intersection before the dumbass in the PT Cruiser came flying through there.
But a yield sign doesn't mean stop. It means you have to give right-of-way to the cars in the main lanes. It pisses me off when there is a lane for merging and people STOP at a yield sign. I could understand stopping if the on ramp dumps you right into traffic with no dedicated merge lane.
