Well you'd be surprised. Even hint to some people that they aren't as good as professional players and they might flip out on you. idk. lol.

I apologize, because I know that what I'm going to say is going to come off insultingly, but it's not really meant that way...
yeah, I kinda agree. Before I heard it was about russia, I was praying it would be about the Pacific theater.. That would have been awesome. But I'll still end up getting it, simply because I really loved the original.
No, you're right. They'll lose the family plan and a few other pointless ideas that are branded useless with the loss of the DRM. Who cares? 9 out of 10 ideas they had can still be implemented on a "opt-in" basis, just like I've been clamoring for the entire time.
100% Agreed. I really have nothing more to say lol.
Exactly. That and perhaps the fact that just about every game site and/or blog after E3 said something along the lines of "Sony Wins." Seeing both of those things might have convinced them they were taking way too big a risk.
I'm proud because instead of butt-fucking me, they decided against it because they realized I wasn't into that (to continue the analogy lol).
The problem there is, a lack of DRM and used games restrictions doesn't change any of that. There's nothing stopping them from the implementation of those ideas. It just means you can choose to take part in them instead of being forced to do so.
Sorry to bring up a dead conversation, but upon hearing the news, I felt the need to say "I told you so". Microsoft realized they were fucking themselves over, and rectified the situation. And I'm proud of them for it. They've regained my respect in a way.
I'm actually proud of you Microsoft. You realized how many people you were angering and excluding and you did the right thing and rectified the situation. You've regained my respect and I thank you for it. Now I'm actually excited for the XBO (as long as they keep their word.)
I can see the other side's argument. They're just wrong on this one is all.
I'm not wasting any more time on this. You don't get it and you never will.So I'm not going to bother reading half your post because it's all drivel anyways. but I will say this:
1) Then I find it surprising they haven't found a counter yet.
Except you're wrong man, because they said the fee was going to be the full price of the game, and that they will use used games restrictions on their console by leaving it up to developers to determine whether or not the game will function used. (it won't.)
Also, I know this is a comedy site (that I'm linking to) but you should really read the article, because it's pretty much true. Read both #2 and #1.
#1) Then why didn't they deal with this 20 years ago?
But you haven't offered a compelling argument to change my mind either. So whats the point? Like I said before, it's not a learning experience. I've already learned as much as I possibly could from this, so I don't see a point in continuing it.
I'm not "sticking my head in the sand to end the discussion"simply because there is no discussion. You aren't going to suddenly change your opinion, and neither am I, so what exactly is the point? This isn't what i'd call a "learning experience" really.
I'd like to see some sources for your information. Because I think it's bullshit. And I want some hard factual numbers from someone/someplace legit, not from some site speculating. Because it seems like not a single person on this site providing numbers (in favor of these restrictions) can provide any actual hard…
Make stats out of something it isn't? Are you fucking mad? Nearly 1/4 of North American's don't have internet. Over 1/4 of Europeans don't have internet. 29% of Americans don't have internet. IE. 1 in 5 (20%) Americans don't have a home internet connection, and nearly 7% rely on local internet sources (libraries,…
