Yeah, they said you can still buy and resell game online through Microsoft's own store that's in the works. And I doubt that will change, along with the internet thing either. If it was subject to change, they wouldn't release info that pisses off most of their customer-base.

You're reacting off emotion, not logic.

Add this on to my last post as well. I tried to edit it, but it kept glitching out and wouldn't save for some reason...

That's no different than people who say, "Black people commit the most crimes; we should imprison all black people just to be safe!"

Once again, apples and oranges. Those aren't intrusive safety features. Turning your system into a paperweight is pretty damn intrusive. Always-on camera and voice recording seems pretty damn intrusive. None of what you just wrote compares.

Christ, he is isn't he? He's a fucking master at missing the point entirely but honing in 100% on the minutiae, and then trying to turn THAT into an argument (poorly, might I add.)

Same here. I've learned my lesson the first time with Diablo III. I though, "oh sure, I'll give it chance, maybe it'll be cool." (Which might be why this kid makes me so angry.. Because I was just like him until I wised up. )

Well then "light" forms of DRM are fine. Who gives a fuck. You're arguing over semantics and completely ignoring the point I'm making (purposefully might I add) which is that INTRUSIVE forms ofDRM are the problem here. I said that before, but once again, you skipped over my point entirely and decided to focus on the

Wow. You did it. Your statement was so fucking stupid, that I feel I need to rescend my last post's final paragraph until the end of this one, to say this:

I feel the same way man, I was so hyped, I prayed the rumors weren't true, and I was honestly excited. Not now. Now I'm just sick of Microsoft. I can't believe they'd exclude so many of their customers in favor of two primary groups. A) People who don't know any better, and B)Well-off Americans living in cities or

Oh, also, despite what you think, much of the country doesn't have internet, and if it does, it's often bad. And beyond that, much of the world has shoddy internet. To compare the entire planet to your standards of typical american suburban internet is sorta ridiculous man.

Yeah, well sharing games has been going on even longer than piracy and the companies weren't greedy enough (/didn't have the technology) to try and take that away from us yet. It's been an accepted practice for more than 30 years now, I highly doubt you're gonna get arrested for lending a game out. It's not the same

This is the last time I'm responding. So soak it up, and don't bother replying. You aren't going to get it if you haven't thus far.

Yeah, I'll bitch about it anyways, because it's not what I signed up for. I don't WANT a product I have to check in daily with. I want a fucking product that I can play when and where I want. I want a product I can take to my family home in a rural area with no network coverage and actually be able to fucking use it.

Why? Because "Microsoft is an EVIL CORPORATION"? Is that the only argument you little drones can ever muster up?

I'm not proposing a boycott. That would be pointless, like you said. I'm just saying, I personally won't be purchasing it. I'd rather wait and see what Sony does.

Exactly man. He's either A) Adam Orth, or B) A child/teenager. Those are the only conclusions that make sense to me.

Seriously. You'd think after they fired his ass, he might have rescinded some of his ignorantly selfish beliefs, but apparently not lol.

I seriously think we should just give up man. He isn't going to get it. He's so brainwashed that he truly believes that DRM is a step in the right direction. We could sit here arguing with him for days about how much of a disaster DRM is, but he'll never admit he's wrong.

Same here man. My internet is spotty as hell (goes out for atleast 15 mins almost daily) and sometimes for hour and hours at a time. I'm going to be penalized for my area's shoddy connection? That's not right. I won't be buying either, I'm just so disappointed in Microsoft. The 360 was such a great console, and they
