I think Sunset Tree will always be my favorite (talking favorite albums). I listened to it at 17 when my home life had become pretty volatile, and it got me through some rough times. Plus, it's just an amazing album. All Hail is great too, though, and I really liked Life of the World to Come semi-recently.

I've had Foreign Object stuck in my head for the past two weeks, confusing and concerning my roommates. I'm not sure there's a catchier song about stabbing someone in the eye.

Oh, I assume it's just overblown gossip, but this IS the Internet. Their chemistry really is shot, though.

Nasty (rumored) on-set breakup, and then Somerhalder is engaged now, I think?

Not particularly surprised after all the Dobrev/Somerhaldler drama, but hoping Dobrev finds some solid work after TVD. I'll miss seeing her play all the DoppleDobrevs (though not the doppelgangers themselves).

I forgot about Lord God Bird! That's a great one, and the reason I learned about the Ivory billed woodpecker.

Romulus. I love so much off of Seven Swans, and Casimir Pulaski day is a favorite too, but I keep on coming back to that. This album definitely fills in the context, too.

I love the small, real details he includes in his lyrics. Lyrics like "he called me Subaru" in Eugene are instantly evocative, and including affectionate nicknames like "my little hawk" in Fourth of July kills me. These little things really bring it to life, in my opinion. I'm very, very impressed with this album.

I burned out pretty hard on Sufjan Christmas covers, but I go back to listen to Sister Winter any time of year

This may be my favorite album of the year and it's only March. Wow.

Yeah, I absolutely adore DWJ, and reading her books definitely set the stage for my bingereading all the Practchett books later.

There's dozens of us! Dozens!

I loved Lucy! I enjoyed O'Grady, too, which I watched in college. Galsky and Benjamin just play off of each other well. I love Archer/Bob's Burgers, but I do miss the "H. Jon Benjamin voices multiple main characters" thing which he did in Home Movies and O'Grady.

I'm always happy when Huntress is onscreen. But yay Whedonverse reunion! Baccarin, Torres, and Acker. Fun stuff.

After watching Edge of Tomorrow for 30 minutes, my mom asked "so is this what World War 2 was really like? I didn't think it was like this."

Good Grief is great, but Pier Pressure was the first Arrested Development episode I saw, and it's still my favorite. They had a marathon on FX between seasons, and I happened to stop channel flipping at the start of Pier Pressure and immediately tried to get my dad to take me to Media Play or something to try and find

And she's supposed to be 17!

In the spirit of the Golden Globes, I am drinking champagne out of a plastic cup.

A.A. Dowd? A B-? Well, I never!

With an inexplicable cameo by Bob Dylan!
