SPOILER BUFFY COMICS: Buffy totally tried to hook up with Xander in the comics! But he was literally hooking up with Dawn when she went to talk to him. Oops.

Oh god, I would not want to go through Tara again. I was watching live at that point (as I'm sure a lot of current SPN viewers were) and it hit me real hard.

Oh my god that's amazing. How's it going? I'm on season 2 of Buffy with my friend, and she is super into James Marsters' acting (something I totally support). My boyfriend has mostly been into Fred and Wesley as we did a rewatch of Buffy/Angel recently. How has your husband been reacting?

Totally. I've been watching Buffy with my best friend who is a massive SPN fan but has never seen Buffy (and is completely unspoiled, it's like a unicorn) so my primary reaction is that the Ghostfacers kind of reminded me of the Trio from the beginning, and that Buffy is awesome. Not exactly super constructive…

I don't really have anything to say about this, but hooray Ghostfacers for being the longest lived Supernatural characters, and RIP Harold Ramis. Excited for next week's Crowley episode.

We covered it a bit in a few different classes (AP US, AP Government, general survey history class). Sidenote unconnected to high schoolers: We actually covered it quite a bit in my Con Law class too, 1L year, reading Korematsu and such.

Yeah, I was curious about Dylan O'Brien's absence too, because all I want is an awesome evil Stiles centered episode, but we've gotten a couple weeks of wheel spining. I bet you're right about the shooting schedule.

Assuming MTV is targeting high schoolers, at this point, I probably knew MORE about US History than I do now, because I'd been taking a US History class each year. Oh, well. Don't feed the Phil trolling.

I agree. It's very sloppy. They got a "credit for trying" from me, because I expect just about everything involving angels to be haphazard, sloppy, and poorly thought out. I'm not a big fan of the more recent angel plotlines.

Ooh yeah. I thought Peter Jackson actually caved and listed him as Figwit in ROTK, but it looks like it was just used on some of the other Lord of the Rings material (apparently Tops trading cards and such, lol). I will continue to call him Figwit.

I thought he was listed as Figwit in the Lord of the Rings credits?

It's fun to watch Lord of the Rings now and be able to say "Figwit won an Oscar."

I love this movie and this song. It always kind of reminded me of "I'm Not Crying" from Flight of the Conchords.

Angel season 5 is one of my favorite seasons of TV, period.
