I didn't even know those words went together to make a band name, and I live in Columbus.

Oh, they definitely make it up as they go along. I just appreciated the effort to connect it at all really. I have a pretty low bar for SPN angel plots this season.

.

Oh, I would never want anyone I care about to date Logan. But wow, do Bell and Dohring have chemistry, and their VM relationship is fun to watch.

I agree that the Men of Letters bunker is an awesome vehicle for MotW stories. "Oh, we found an artifact that does ______, hijinx ensue!" or "Oh, we found something that sends us on this hunt!" It baffles me that the writers haven't utilized this more.

Nah, Teddy Dunn went to law school, I think, and is generally out of acting. I was whatever about Piz as well but man, I was not a Duncan fan.

Yup, I agree with you on the multiple antagonists issue. The season 6 Cas and Crowley vs Raphael conflict WAS interesting, but since there was so much packed into season 6, they had to shove it in at the end, whereas it would have been way more interesting to see it develop. Supernatural has a lot of trouble going in

I AM SO EXCITED. Though as you said, I'm holding back my over the moon face.

You nailed what I liked about this, as usual. I am a big fan of when the show utilizes the differences between angels and humans, and in particular that they think in a much bigger scope than humans. It is both interesting and it gives them a point.

Speaking of (somewhat, Alona Tal reminded me of this), the angel at the funeral from the beginning said something about how he was friends with Rebecca a long time ago, and now I can't get the Dandy Warhols out of my head.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think the angels have suffered from a lot of interchangeable, bland actors (outside of Amanda Tapping last season, etc.) that I can't really bring myself to care about. Bring back Sebastian Roche!

"Doesn't he kinda look like Godzilla with a backpack on?"

Yeah, I'm not really keen on the angel war thing either. The angels have been in factions since what? season 6? and their political drama has always been pretty meh to me, especially since that was a big part of season 8 as well.

I agree with Eric that there was a lot of talking around the interesting parts, but man, was I happy to see some points addressed at all. I'd really been hoping that Supernatural would get into the "what exactly is going on in heaven?" question, because I think it's something that could be fascinatingly fleshed out.

Very cool!

This season, outside of the body painting episode, has had far too many shirts. Agreed. Linden Ashby has been AWESOME this season. I didn't see the skull, but I wasn't looking too hard. Cool idea.

*does Jeff Davis plot hole dance*

Just curious, what's your avatar, @avclub-f784532f29a69676a9e99639849e1774:disqus? Asking because it looks like Scully and a target, which is cool.

Yeah, Jeff Davis would probably have to change the opening if Stiles became a werewolf, like he was teasing.

I feel the same way. I've been a big fan of this season, and I have high hopes for the rest of it. I wish that instead of this episode, they'd just gone straight into Evil Stiles or something, but it looks like it's coming. The past two have reminded me of the ???? feeling I had when watching 3A.
