LOL the reality engine was in the fat ps3 only for ps2 emulation, it wasn’t used for ps3 games. What about old console? Nes to N64 did not have backward compatibility. Backward compatibility is nice but not at any cost.

PS2 emulation is in a really good place since the last 5 year btw. A mid range computer is going to run it at a native 1080p 60fps with bell and whistle.
