Not all RR crossings have the arms.

I don’t mean to be one of “those” people. But, that isn’t a pool of fluids. Its the asphalt patch from when they put the guardrail post in.

My wife does hotel inspections, yes, it is a serious problem.

I am attending the TRB Annual Meeting and in just a few minutes Chris Urmson, from the Google Self Driving Car Program will be the keynote speaker. Should be interesting to hear him.

I went to the Detroit Auto Show last year, even got my wife to come with. (We are from Minneapolis/St. Paul, so it was considered a vacation, to Detroit!). Let’s just say she wasn’t thrilled about going there given the reputation. But, a year later she still talks about how much fun she had on that trip!

news story on the Iowa DOT signs:

I missed yesterday’s posts so maybe this was mentioned. But the Iowa DOT had 3 different Star Wars themed safety posts yesterday.

I thought my child abuse story at a red light was sad...this is right up there.

Saw a parent beating their child with a whiffle ball bat. This was pre cell phones so we called the police when we got to the store we were headed to.

Well, I have plans for tonight then.
