The drug abuse, violence, suicide and general malaise First Nations people suffer in Canada is obscene.

Canadians in general are super proud of our healthcare system, and will defend it with tooth and nail.

I wish Canada did en masse negotiations for prescription drugs, but we don’t. Canadians spend more on average for their prescriptions than do people in many other countries as a result. The main reason for this is that health care is a provincial, not a federal, responsibility.

I do believe this. We think we’re the greatest nation on earth, yet we are one of the youngest. We have a lot of growing up to do:/
