I keep wondering why so many people believe Woody Allen makes good movies! They make quite the pair...

Because she is not separate from it? "Dylan" called out those actors because they perpetually work for Woody Allen and often serve as muses for his work. She invokes their name because many have earned a bunch of money through him and his movies and have helped to elevate Woody Allen to the level of pop-culture

My friend runs a cosmetic surgery vacation spot in another country where it is cheaper (but still safe!) to get surgeries done. It is always fascinating to see couples who come down for a week or two to get anniversary surgeries (exactly what they sound like: tune ups for the big 2-0). They are in this gorgeous town,

Guys, I am having a bit of a shitty/happy week. I found out that my step brother died last Saturday. He was 20 and a student on Spring Break. He died of natural causes - he apparently had a heart condition that we did not know about - and although we were not super close it was still super sad. I've also had a shit

and you are not a monster. Forgot to add that.

Geez I don't know. We are trying to keep it small, but between friends and family, we are already pushing over 100. It adds up quickly... surprisingly.

Or just give them half of a cake.

This. This. This.

So agree. If someone is in a serious relationship, they should be able to come as a pair. My sister had a bunch of friends bring other friends as plus ones, which was okay for her wedding because the venue was large enough, but not all places and people have that option so capping it on people who are not in serious

That is so shitty and I am so incredibly sorry. People seem to forget how much it costs YOU to have a wedding. Mr C and I are planning on having a destination wedding but we have a very limited size venue and will have to put caps on how many people we can invite, much less how many can bring plus ones. Our policy is

Completely agree. That is just ... weird and extremely inconsiderate. Mr C and I are getting married and since the venue of our choice is small, we cannot give everyone plus ones. However, if there are well-established couples (especially those who are kind enough to make a cake or plan a party for either one of us!)

The worst was when I was at one of our other locations and had to process shipment in a rat infested basement. I was the only one who dared to do it, and had to play loud music to make sure that nothing skittered over my feet (shudder!). I considered calling the DoH, but then I remembered that it was a NY basement,

Geez! Good to know... thanks!

Congratulations! Beautiful ring choice. My fiancé also proposed with an atypical stone - emerald, which is what I wanted anyway. Could not be happier with him or the ring! He is abroad for the next year, so it is nice to have a token of him with me all the time.

I'll take both. You have no choice!

Same with where I worked. The ones who made the most noise or said "I'm a very good customer" (NO NO YOU ARE NOT) were the WORST.

look, as someone who worked in retail I can tell you that this happens ALL of the time. And stockrooms, at least in NYC, are disgusting. I mean, you cannot imagine just how nasty they can be.

ugh yeah it was disgusting. and they usually were the loudest and most complain-y to distract from the mess.

Ugh this reminds me of one time when I first started in retail.

Glad that this worked for her! If Mr. C would have done that, I would have been pissed. Still would have married him, but pissed.
