Can anyone offer context on how “big” Sonic is in Japan today? Just wondering if the thing looks crap because there’s no money behind it/no demand. Or maybe Hooters just lowers expectations by physical proximity.

So much yes with your first point - I started watching when it aired and then cried off, the last three weeks of the show were some of the best TV around at the time of it ending. So happy to see Robin Thede back like this.
You are a part of why I love coming here and have done for so long Luke.
So they paint the street regularly? Anyone know the deal here - is it always like this?
“You can also just make your own pet food, if you’re into that.”
SONIC MANIA?!?!
“But all the science isn’t in!”. How about “But all the god isn’t in!”, as in “We’ve never met him and all we’re really working off is very old fables and bylaws we’ve used like mental spackle to enable our willing ignorance”.
Yeah, I think he doesn’t care about much of this, because why would he ever feel like making good with people who aren’t nice to him and can’t remove him easily. Especially when the base of his vote seem to have sent him as either a human firebomb to burn away things they are afraid of, or a man-sized inflatable fist…
Neat, I’ll check into it, thanks for the recommendation.
Yeah. Picking sides between these two and Trump is like picking sides between the loudmouth drunk at the bar and the people who’ve been getting him drunk all night while sneering at him the drunker he got.
OIC, no I meant the Nine Network one with Jacobson and Gare - I should have been more specific.
“Whatever happens, the countdown has begun, but towards what nobody can yet say.”
I must admit, this is a little like reading that someone who voted for Trump without ever thinking “this is going to cost me and my family” and now has concerns, as has been happening lately over healthcare. I’m struggling to get on the same side as people who the President is lashing out at, when they played their…
Now I just feel like I miss the Australian version of the show. Of all the English-speaking versions I’ve seen, that one was a distinct second place above the others. Gone too soon.
Yeah. Your line on Last of The Summer Wine struck a chord because I read a little while before the general election that Corbyn was widely respected in his local constituency, and when pressed, the constituents said “He always shows up to things he said he would”, which sounded just like something Foggy would do. …
I’m really starting to feel that Corbyn - as crappy as the U.K. Government is at the moment - is a candidate that I want to support, but I really don’t know if I like the idea of him being PM. But that leaves me with the idea of more Tories, seeing as how there isn’t really any alternative. Which - again - crappy.
