I think you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think the same dynamics were at play in terms of humanity’s susceptibility to propaganda. Leaders rising to power on the back of propaganda driven populism that plays on nativist fears the way Trump did is not a new thing at all.

I wouldn’t say that the 20 million people who got health insurance for the first time, or the 15 million who found jobs, or the middle class workers who saw the biggest year-over-year earnings jump in history, were screwed by Obama.

Unless he took their guns.

There are degrees of right and wrong though. While Democrats certainly aren’t perfect, Obama and the Democrats did some positive things with healthcare, renewables, affordable housing, etc…

I dunno, the more I’ve thought about it, the more I think that Trump’s presidency is very much a toss up proposition.

Ive already put in an application down at the asbestos mill.

Uh, aren’t you forgetting about all the auto factories and coal mines that will be reopening any day now?

The ultimate irony of the Trump Presidency is that those who fought against him are largely going to be fine in the Trump economy.

That is a disturbingly accurate cartoon.

First thing I came down here to say. Oatmeal described this perfectly.

“Listen, either you play my music, or we’re playing nothing at all!” - James Dolan.

I bet you think that’s acute comment you made there, huh?

I respectfully disagree with your perspective. I think Jim does a true service to the game industry by shining a light on its most egregious and awful occurances. You can hate his persona and how he goes about shining that light but I think his over the top attitude is not only endearing and complementary but

Jealous?

That’s fine, ignore him like everyone else who didn’t make a comment seeking attention and validation for their opinion.

How can a fucking place called Iceland not like hockey?

You can stand under a steamy shower for days, however, and never run out of hot water, which makes it the best place in the world in my opinion. Additionally, while they believe in hill trolls they don’t actually elect them to the highest offices in the land.

I’ve been to Iceland AND Wyoming.
