Did I miss something? The video has the question, “WHERE did Obama let us down?” not “DID Obama let us down?”. Those are two different questions.

cointelpro 2.0.

The first gen Scion xB sold like gangbusters. But this was back when Scion just launched and had the idea they would refresh their car models on a short cycle. So they refreshed the xB, made it bigger, more power, etc. But the styling looked fat, and it didn’t sell as well.

“but calling her a ho not only went too far—it was misguided, and he should know better, but he doesn’t”

Sales are already declining for the BRZ. More than a few people have been saying from the start, “give it more power!”. I’m making the argument Subaru can get it done for less what Matt was saying would need to be added to the MSRP, citing two examples from history.

Yeah after realizing that I will agree its a poor argument. But its still a separate argument vs. how much would Subaru would have to add to the cost of the MSRP wouldn’t you agree?

Ooo, maybe. If it was I was unaware. That would put Mazda into a very similar situation where the BP had been turboed before in a fwd configuration but never in a rwd configuration just like the Cobalt SS > Solstice twins.

Are we discussing how much Subaru would have to add to the price the BRZ after turboing it or are we discussing how much of a sales success the BRZ would be afterwards. To me those are two different subjects.

Reasons for the solstice twins failed would be its own discussion. And one could argue that once the S2000 and

Ooo, I was unaware of the Mazdaspeed Protege, I’ll have to look into that. That would mean Mazda did something very similar to GM and took and engine in which they had experience in turboing in a fwd configuration and changing it to a rwd configuration.

GM was able to meet all these challenges when turboing the Solstice twins and look how much they added to the MSRP, $2710 according to Car and Driver.. Granted the Ecotec had been turbocharged before in the Cobalt and Ion, but those are fwd and not rwd.

No it would not. Look at how much Mazda added to the msrp for the MazdaSpeed Miata. The BP engine had never been turboed before. Also look at how much GM added to the MSRP of the Solstice Twins. The Ecotec had never been turbocharted in a North South layout before (although it had been turboed in a Cobalt SS but in

1991 Honda Prelude in white.

I want to see Edd China and James May build kit cars on TV. They can start with an MEV Exocet.

Yes, yes it did. And? The point is Mazda was able to turbo charge the BP series motor from scratch and was able to add the option for less than $1k to the MSRP. Subaru doesn’t have to turbo the FA20 from scratch, it already exists in the WRX so all that work is done. GM did the same thing with the Solstice twins for

They just want the WRX motor put in for a start! If we can get that done then we can worry about STi power levels. Way to result to hyperbole.

No you retard, we’ve been asking for the WRX turbo motor. Miata was able to do all this with the MazdaSpeed Miata. GM did with the solstice twins. It can be done, neither car was ruined. You’re dumb.

Good thing the GT 86 already has a turbo engine ready to go with no R&D necessary to develop it. Subaru and Toyota just need to figure out how to mount it in the chassis, and I’m sure they have the engineering expertise to do that.

People have been asking for more power for the AE-86 since the beginning. Give them the choice to have it.
